Pleasantly surprising entertainment

We had a wonderful time at the Traverse City Wine and Arts Festival, and were happy to hear that this years entertainment was to include Rusted Root, as well as a burlesque troupe.
When we arrived, the festival was well underway. We mingled, sampling the local wines and food while listening to the bands play. I really had no concept of how many people were there until the Northern Starlets took the stage. Then people came out of the woodwork surrounding the stage for a show that truly was like taking a step back in time. A variety show with something for all. From the parody/comedy seekers, to the hand-eye coordination and dexterity of the juggling act, the sensual as well as comedic grace of the beautiful dancers, to the larger that life puppeteer. Vaudeville lives!
A thank you also go to the Traverse City Wine and Arts Festival Committee for bringing this diverse variety show to the stage for all to enjoy.

Beautiful and Classic

I saw this performance troupe at the Traverse City Wine & Art festival. At first I wasn't sure what to expect, but once I saw them perform I could see that they were bringing back the Classic Art of Vaudeville and Burlesque, The show was beautiful and and great comedy in the story line of each act. If I lived here I would try to become a Northern Starlet, Very Classy!
